Not long to go now! Really looking forward to doing this one... :D

(Saw the remake of the classic Wickerman movie last night, with Nicholas Cage in the lead role... They shouldn't have bothered! What's the point of a rebake when the original was so awesome? :?: :roll: )

Our big festival appearance draws ever closer.
On Sunday night I watched highlights from KT Tunstall's 'T in The Park' set - thinking, "We're going to be following her onstage in just under 2 weeks time!" :shock:
There are some great acts at The Wickerman this year... Gary Numan, Dub Pistols, Hugh Cornwell, KT Tunstall.... not forgetting Trancient Dreams, ZubZub and Champignon.

We did indeed keep our appointment with The Wickerman! We had a great time and we are all totally knackered! I've never had so little sleep than over the past 5 days! :roll: It was like being in the eye of the hurricane. We drove through the night last Thursday, played a Champignon set Friday night (which was very difficult due to there being 2 very loud rave tents literally 50 foot from our 'chill-out' tent!) then on Saturday night we did 2 ZubZub sets (surviving a 'vital lost eqipment' scare!) b4 the Dream Machine slot on the mainstage following the burning of The Wicker Man. The Dm set was performed in a thick pea souper sea mist! At times visibility was down to 10 metres! And they still gave us plenty from the smoke machine!It was a surreal joy to perform the new 'Castle' material to an enthusiastic crowd, none of whom had ever seen us before. Great fun. :D

Anyway, lots of other festivals seem to have coincided with Wickerman... I for one went to Womad at the weekend (where it was hot and sunny). How was Hawkfest, Si? Was Tim Blake there?

.... and the angel 'marty' did contact peter from the heavens, and said 'lo, my friend you have suffered at the hands of the tyrants who did remove your transport like no man should.. i will ease your pain by taking you upon my steed to the promised land..' surely the beam upon peters face was visible for many miles

belting hot and top notch festi, yes tim was there in hawkwind and solo with some 'guest' spots too!!

will tell you more later as i am still wading through all the backlog of messages/emails etc!!!!
